Quick Application

This component allows for a speedy application to one or more jobs with just a few clicks. Only basic information from the applicants is required.

The emphasis on speed in the accelerated application process is intended to quickly fill vacant positions.

Headline and Text

Enter an optional headline and/or text. The following formatting options are available:

Emphasis: Bold and italic

Text alignment: Left-aligned, center (default), right-aligned.

Colors: You can assign any color to the entire text or individual words. Colors are defined in the "Design" tab. First, highlight the text and then click the circle icon with the color to color the text.

Links: Links can also be set in the text, which can open either in the same (default) or a new window.

In this tab, you can also set the color and optional gradient for the connection arrows.

Job List

You can create one to a maximum of six jobs.

The initial configuration of the component includes three jobs. Assign each entry a job from your ATS or add new entries. Click the plus symbol to do this.

Job List: Color Settings

All design-relevant color settings are summarized below the job list. The following settings are possible:

  • Job title

  • Job title in overlay
The color of the job title in the open overlay of the application form

  • “Quick apply” button
It's best to choose an active color that stands out on your career page.

  • “Submit application” button
The color of the "submit" button in the open overlay of the application form

Configure Job

Select job
To configure a job, first select the job you previously created in the ATS.

Short job title
For positions with long titles, it is advisable to enter a short title here for better readability.

Short description
By design, the quick application does not display the full job description. However, you can optionally insert a short description in the overlay.

Configure Form

The quick application essentially consists of a simplified application form that can be configured to your needs.

The following fields represent the minimum configuration and are mandatory:

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Email

The following fields can be additionally added:

  • Phone number

  • Attachments*
(It is not recommended to ask for a resume or other documents in the quick application.)

  • Availability

  • Preferred date or comment

*cannot be configured as a mandatory field

Form: Set Availability

An important feature of the quick application is to offer applicants the option to set availability for the initial interview.

As a recruiter, you have the option to adjust the availability options from which the applicant can choose. The following options are available:

Weeks:

  • This week

  • Next week

  • The week after next

Time of day:

  • Morning (07:00 – 10:00)

  • Forenoon (10:00 – 12:00)

  • Noon (12:00 – 14:00)

  • Afternoon (14:00 – 18:00)

  • Evening (18:00 – 21:00)

You can also enable a comment field so applicants can, for example, suggest their own time.

You can also choose whether multiple applications with the same email address are allowed. However, note that this setting has no effect if multiple applications with the same email address are already enabled in the ATS.

Configure Steps

Show your applicants how simple the application process is by enabling the steps. Explain to your applicants what steps the application involves.

All design-relevant color settings are summarized below the step list. The following settings are possible:

  • Headline

  • Labels

  • Numbers

  • Number background

Set Background

In this tab, you can choose either a background color (default) or a background image.

If you choose a background image, you can upload your own image or use one of the predefined images.

Background Image: Effects

You have the option to enable additional effects for the background image:

Gradient
A diagonal gradient to give the background image a visual boost. It's best to use two company colors here. You can adjust the transparency of the gradient with a slider.

Dark overlay
To ensure the headline and text are legible, it is usually necessary to dim the image brightness somewhat. You can also adjust the color temperature of the overlay (cool ↔ warm) and its transparency.
